We are excited about the opportunity that we have in Huntington IN.  We had over-the-top support from the Landfill Manager, the Mayor, City and County officials, the City Council, the County Commissioners, the Solid Waste District, the CARE Group, and many of our new neighbors in Huntington. We have been issued both air and waste processing permits by IDEM.  We plan to have our roads, slabs, and foundations in before the end of 2012 and expect to be operational in the second half of 2013.

This plant will accept MSW (municipal solid waste), C&D (construction and demolition) Waste, industrial waste, tires, and water treatment sludge.  It will be thoroughly separated and made into renewable products; renewable ultra-low-sulfur diesel; and renewable synthetic crude oil distillate.  After start up, nothing from the plant will go into a landfill.

This plant will employ over 180 people on site and over twenty more off site. All employees of this plant will share in the profits of the plant in the form of bonuses paid twice per year. All employees of the plant are salaried. Training, testing and certification in several aspects of environmental procedures, safety procedures, operational procedures, and leadership is undergone by every employee. Many opportunities will be afforded to these team members for promotion to management teams that will start and run future plants.

The tipping fees for all wastes brought into this facility are shared with Huntington. Once operational, we expect this to be one of the most visited plants in the country and expect it to set the bar extremely high for our other plants and future competitors to follow.
